1950 A&P a modern supermarket

Supermarkets started to be popular in the 1930's but in the 1950's with the growth of suburbs, supermarkets really took off and A&P was quite popular and advertised extensively. Note the fashions and the fact that the babies and kids were left out front by themselves. I think at least one of those carriages has no one, not even a little kid, watching the baby.
